DevOps Engineer

The Role:

They are now looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join their UK engineering team. You’ll play a key role in building, scaling and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that underpins a growing suite of applications. Working closely with software engineers, product teams and stakeholders, you’ll help ensure reliable, secure and efficient software delivery through modern Dev Ops practices.

• Working closely with engineering teams to improve developer experiences
• Building, maintaining and evolving CI/CD pipelines
• Designing and provisioning resilient, secure cloud infrastructure
• Owning environments from development through to production
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying operational risks
• Supporting system lifecycle management, including change and configuration
• Troubleshooting infrastructure incidents to maintain performance and stability
• Driving continuous improvement across performance, security and cost optimisation

This role suits a collaborative Dev Ops Engineer who enjoys problem-solving and working across teams in a modern cloud-native environment.

Key experience includes:

• Building scalable, highly available infrastructure on AWS
• Kubernetes, Helm and containerisation
• CI/CD pipelines and Git Ops practices
• Strong experience across a range of AWS services
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Monitoring, observability and cost optimisation
• Scripting in Python or Bash
• Supporting production environments and scaling deployments
• Working closely with development teams in agile environments
