About Us

About Us: One-third of the UK’s working-age population struggles to access affordable credit — and at Amplifi Capital, we’re committed to changing that. Our mission is to improve the nation’s financial health by putting customers at the heart of everything we do. Through our state-of-the-art Fin Tech ecosystem, we enable ethical lending via credit unions, making fair and accessible credit a reality for everyone in the UK.

ACl Amplifi Capital Limited (ACL) is proud to be one of the top lenders in the UK’s near-prime unsecured personal loans market. Our customer-first approach and innovative solutions have driven remarkable growth — increasing new customer volumes fivefold in just two years. And we’re only getting started. Our two flagship brands, My Community Finance (credit broking) and Reevo Money, are designed to meet diverse customer needs while promoting financial inclusion.

As the leading name in the UK credit union market, with the two largest credit unions on our platform, we’re setting new standards for ethical lending. But our ambition goes further: we aim to become the biggest player in the UK personal loan market for the near-prime segment. By staying customer-centric and leveraging cutting-edge technology, Amplifi Capital is redefining what responsible lending looks like — standing out from competitors and leading the way in financial empowerment.

Role

Purpose

We are looking for a Data Manager to lead the data governance, protection, and compliance function at Amplifi Capital, supporting our consumer lending activities. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be responsible for ensuring that our data practices meet FCA regulatory expectations, uphold Consumer Duty principles, and protect customer information to the highest standards.

In this role, you will oversee how data is collected, stored, secured, and utilised across the business, ensuring full compliance with UK GDPR, SYSC, PRIN, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. You will work closely with Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Product teams to strengthen data controls, improve data quality, and ensure our MI and reporting structures support both operational needs and regulatory obligations.

This is a hands-on but strategically influential position, driving the business toward stronger data governance, improved risk management, and a robust culture of compliance. You will also play a key role in regulatory audits, data protection oversight, and the development of policies that ensure responsible and compliant lending practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust data governance policies covering data quality, accuracy, integrity, retention, classification, and secure processing.
  • Design and oversee secure, scalable data architectures and integrations, ensuring all systems meet FCA expectations for operational resilience, information security, and consumer protection.
  • Strengthen and monitor data security controls, including access management, encryption, data minimisation, and incident‑response processes.
  • Manage end‑to‑end data lifecycle processes, including data lineage, audit trails, change control, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure MI, dashboards, and operational reporting are accurate, accessible, and aligned with Consumer Duty monitoring obligations.
  • Implement and oversee key KPIs and metrics for data quality, security, governance compliance, and business impact.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the DPO, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and business teams, ensuring data initiatives meet regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements.
  • Support FCA‑related audits, reviews, and reporting by providing evidence, documentation, and subject‑matter expertise on data controls.
  • Own data‑related risk assessments, ensuring risks are identified, documented, mitigated, and escalated appropriately.
  • Drive data protection focused processes and provide guidance across the organisation, helping teams understand regulatory expectations and make informed, compliant use of data.
  • Oversee the delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and solutions, ensuring they remain compliant, secure, and fit for…
