Thepositionwillbemadepermanentintimeandtherewilleanopportunityforpostholderstoapplyforthepermanentrole.
Thisroleishybridworkingwith3daysintheofficerequired.
- Oversee the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of (corporate website) and microsites, including site structure, navigation, and content strategy.
- Ensure all web content aligns with best practices in usability, accessibility (WCAG), and web writing standards.
- Manage technical configurations and CMS platforms to meet agreed service requirements and technical specifications.
- Submit and manage support tickets related to website bugs and technical issues.
- Promote and embed a user-centred approach to digital content and service delivery across the organisation.
- Ensure websites and digital services comply with accessibility standards and Government Digital Service (GDS) guidelines.
- Use analytics and user feedback to inform content decisions and site improvements.
- Plan, prioritise, and manage digital projects, balancing multiple competing demands and meeting deadlines.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Communicate technical and non-technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive consensus.
- Contribute to defining and evaluating digital strategies and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on digital best practices, technologies, and service standards.
- Work autonomously while supporting team objectives and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Assess and manage risks associated with digital projects and website operations.
- Expert in Content Strategy & Creation.
- Expertise in developing comprehensive content strategies, crafting user-centred content aligned with GDS standards, and optimising information architecture for improved usability and accessibility.
- Proficient in creating compelling content and online forms compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA and GDS service standards.
- Intermediate: UX Design & User Research.
- Skilled in applying UX design principles such as user flows, wire framing, and prototyping to enhance digital products.
- Experienced in collaborating with UX researchers to gather user insights and feedback, informing content and design decisions to promote a user-centred design approach.
- Expert:
Technical & Analytical Proficiency. - Strong knowledge of web languages (HTML, CSS) and CMS platforms, supporting website development and maintenance.
- Adept at managing website analytics tools, interpreting data to optimise content and user experience, and overseeing bug tracking and support ticket processes.
- Intermediate Leadership & Collaboration.
- Proven ability to lead project planning and prioritisation, managing competing demands to deliver on time and within scope.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, engaging and building strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Skilled in providing guidance and mentorship, fostering a collaborative, feedback-driven culture.
- Intermediate Strategic & Communication Skills.
- Adept at translating technical requirements into accessible language for diverse audiences and developing digital strategies and policies aligned with organisational goals.
- Experienced in assessing risks and managing workflows, ensuring project success.
- Skilled in building positive working relationships across departments to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- A degree in a related field like English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Digital Media is essential.

Pay£22.14 per hour
