Business Process Transformation Manager

London Office 2 days a week

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, highly regarded Consulting business to appoint a Business Process Transformation Manager into a recently established and expanding transformation function. This is a senior, client-facing role with real influence — shaping how a young transformation capability delivers value, leads complex change, and supports technology-driven growth across a global client base. If you enjoy working at the intersection of process, technology, and people
, and want the opportunity to help define a function rather than inherit one, this role is worth a conversation.

THE ROLE

Our client has built a strong reputation for helping organisations turn strategic goals into reality through innovation, automation, and organisational design — all delivered with a genuinely personal consulting style. The Business Process Transformation team was formed two years ago within a Strategic Special Projects group and now sits alongside PMO, Business Analysis, and Enterprise Analysis. The team is growing quickly and supports a portfolio of technology-led transformation, integration and operational improvement initiatives primarily within the technology industry.

This hire will sit at the heart of that growth — leading delivery, managing people, and helping mature the function’s methodologies, standards, and client engagement model.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end business process transformation engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while leading a small, specialist team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex process improvement and transformation initiatives, from discovery and design through to implementation and adoption
  • Delivering three core services:
  • Transformation reviews (process analysis, efficiency gains, TOM redesign)
  • Process design embedded in wider programmes (digital, technology, HR, marketing, integrations)
  • Consultative problem-solving (workshops, diagnostics, pragmatic recommendations)
  • Partnering closely with technology and CIO-level stakeholders on tech-enabled change
  • Applying structured change management to ensure recommendations land and stick
  • Defining KPIs, governance, and quality frameworks to sustain improvement
  • Producing clear, high-quality process documentation and standards
  • Recruiting, managing, and developing a small team of transformation specialists
  • Helping shape how the function works internally and how it positions its value to clients
  • The first year will be hands‑on: embedding into the business, supporting major technology initiatives, strengthening integration capability, and helping formalise ways of working in a still‑maturing team.
YOU

This role suits someone who’s comfortable leading from the front and operating with senior clients.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Strong experience in business process transformation, process improvement, and change management
  • Background in consultancy, transformation offices, or complex matrix environments
  • Experience leading and developing specialist teams (process specialists, BAs, or similar)
  • Confidence working on technology-enabled transformation
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to distil complex problems into clear, compelling recommendations — often communicated in just a few sharp slides
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with a strong client-first approach
  • Comfort working in the gaming sector, or enthusiasm to build credibility there
  • High personal standards, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
