Description

In this role you will work in the Platform Delivery Team, which is responsible for internal technical development of Xantura products, including backend dev, Power Bi dashboards, databases and more.

We are looking for a mid-level Scrum Master to support two Scrum teams within our Platform Delivery Team, managing their use of Scrum, enabling effective delivery, improving team performance, and fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This role will be pivotal in maintaining quality, efficiency and control over the development work carried out by the Scrum Teams. Working closely and collaboratively with our Technical Delivery Manager, QA and our Scrum Developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews, Product Backlog Refinement).
  • Remove and manage impediments and blockers. Work with the Scrum team to understand blockers and work with all relevant stakeholders to manage and ensure smooth delivery flow and understanding.
  • Coach the Scrum Team(s) on Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
  • Promote communication and alignment within the Scrum Team and cross-team(s).
  • Track team delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, blockers, completion %, effort logging, capacity etc).
  • Support the Technical Delivery Manager and Product Owner with backlog prioritisation and clarity of requirements
  • Protect the team from external interruptions and maintain a healthy working environment
  • Identify risks and dependencies, escalating where necessary
  • Contribute to the wider ways of working and practices, share learnings and supporting teams.
  • Work closely with the Technical Delivery Manager to review process, update, refine and implement new ways of working within the Scrum teams.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master ideally within a technical delivery environment
  • Strong understanding of the Scrum Framework
  • Experience coaching teams through framework implementation and transformation/improvements
  • Familiar and experience with delivery tools – Specifically Azure Dev Ops
  • Ability to work with distributed or cross functional teams
  • Scrum certification is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solver with an analytical mindset and a keen eye for inconsistencies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain processes and related information clearly
