As a Legal Documentation Templating Associate in the Equity Derivatives Group, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining legal documentation templates for structured equity products. You will collaborate with business, legal, and technology teams to deliver timely and accurate documentation solutions. Your work will support global business flows and regulatory requirements, ensuring consistency and innovation in our processes.

- Collaborate with Equities Sales, Structuring, and Trading teams to define and prioritize legal documentation automation needs globally
- Own the development lifecycle for legal documentation templates, from requirements gathering to implementation
- Manage template changes and releases, including user acceptance and regression testing
- Deliver high-profile projects focused on automation for our expanding platform business
- Engage with Legal, Technology, and external vendors to ensure template accuracy and functionality
- Provide subject matter expertise on PRIIPs within EMEA, supporting the creation and monitoring of KIDs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
- Proactively address issues and gaps, offering strategic and cost-effective solutions
- Break down complex derivative structures to create clear and effective legal templates
- Stay current with industry initiatives and regulatory changes impacting equity derivatives documentation
- Support a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Equity derivatives product knowledge and/or operational processing experience
- Understanding of transactional documentation processes for securitized products (e.g., Termsheets, Pricing Supplements, Base Prospectus)
- Technical proficiency in equities documentation and ability to interpret legal documents
- Excellent legal documentation drafting skills
- Ability to analyze complex derivative structures and develop corresponding legal templates
- Up-to-date awareness of industry initiatives in equities markets, especially within the EU (e.g., PRIIPs)
- Experience working with documentation generation platforms (e.g., Smart
DX) - Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Para-legal experience (private practice or in-house) is a plus but not required
- Builds customer loyalty and demonstrates client empathy

- Exercises sound judgment and understands business and client drivers
- Communicates effectively with excellent written and verbal skills
