Cyber Ventures and M&A Manager

Location: Reading or London (4 days onsite)

We’re working with a Global Telco business going through a huge cyber security transformation! I’m looking for a Cyber Ventures & M&A Manager to lead and oversee cyber security due diligence for M&A activities and venture investments, ensuring that security is embedded in all strategic assessments and integration processes. This role will drive continuous improvement in cyber risk management for investments and acquisitions, and support post-merger integration to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

• Lead and manage cyber security due diligence for M&A transactions and venture investments
• Oversee review and validation of cyber security posture of potential ventures
• Supervise and coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC) test activities for new technologies
• Collaborate with Ventures Portfolio, M&A, and Tech Strategy teams to identify integration opportunities
• Prepare and present clear reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Lead onboarding of new ventures and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with security requirements

• Experience in cyber security due diligence, M&A, or venture assessment
• Deep understanding of cyber security frameworks and regulatory requirements (GDPR, NIST, PCI DSS)
• Experience managing PoC test activities or technology evaluations
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping cyber security strategy for high-profile investments and acquisitions, influencing decisions at the highest level and driving innovation across a global organisation.
