This role requires a strong mix of coaching, strategy, and hands‑on delivery expertise to drive Agile maturity across the organisation and ensure planned and committed value is delivered.

The role also requires a good appreciation and understanding of waterfall methodologies and the capability to deliver strong results.

As a servant leader with a ‘can do’ attitude, you will be expected to coach diverse teams and senior client stakeholders in a variety of contexts, covering multiple sectors, including telecoms and media, banking, insurance, and the public sector.

This role is London‑based but requires flexibility as it may involve travel within the UK and Europe.

What you'll be doing:
Agile Transformation Leadership
  • Develop and implement Agile transformation strategies and operating models tailored to organisational needs.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define vision, roadmaps, and success metrics.
  • Lead change management efforts to foster an Agile mindset and culture at all levels.
  • Support the Transformation office in the overall Agile transformation, launching new ARTs/Tribes, and improving its maturity levels.
  • Provide executive coaching and training on Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.).
Agile Delivery & Execution
  • Oversee and optimise Agile delivery processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Perform the responsibilities of a Scrum master and coach/mentor Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies at the squad level (Tribe/Train level ceremonies would be advantageous).
  • Identify and remove impediments, bottlenecks, and challenges affecting Agile adoption and delivery execution.
  • Implement and track Agile metrics to measure team performance and business impact.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Act as a bridge between business, technology, and delivery teams to ensure alignment.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, program managers, and product teams to prioritise work based on business value.
  • Conduct Agile workshops, training sessions, and coaching engagements at all levels.
  • Champion Agile best practices while being flexible to adapt Agile to different business contexts.
What experience you'll bring:
  • Solid Agile delivery experience
  • Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, Spotify, etc.).
  • Experience in enterprise Agile transformation & adoption, scaling Agile, and governance models.
  • Deep understanding of Agile delivery in IT, software development, or business operations.
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile ALM tools (JIRA, Rally, Azure Dev Ops, etc.).
  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Must be a people person with a passion for developing teams and people.
  • Strong influencer in the adoption of Agile practices, with a wide range of styles, and the ability to build good working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Agile certifications such as Leading SAFe (SA), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), ICAgile Certified Expert (ICP-ENT, ICP-CAT), or PMI-ACP are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Dev Ops, Lean Portfolio Management, and Product Management in Agile environments.
