We operate several fast‑growth DTC ecommerce brands across multiple categories. Each brand has its own funnels, upsells, landing pages, and product cycles. We are now hiring a CTO who can take full ownership of the technical engine that drives all revenue operations across the portfolio.
This role is not about theoretical architecture or corporate planning. It is about improving conversion rates, increasing funnel performance, building a high‑functioning development team, and creating a technical foundation that scales.
Role OverviewThe CTO will be responsible for everything technical across the business. This includes managing and expanding the development team, owning the full lifecycle of funnels and websites, ensuring tracking accuracy, maintaining uptime and speed, and building internal tools that make our marketing, creative, and operations teams faster and more effective.
You are expected to combine hands‑on execution with leadership. You will identify bottlenecks, prioritise what moves revenue, and establish a technical roadmap that supports aggressive growth.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage all developers across the portfolio
- Own the performance and stability of every funnel, website, landing page, upsell and checkout
- Implement a structured development process including sprints, testing, QA and deployment
- Create standardised funnel and page templates to increase speed of development
- Improve page load speeds, tracking reliability, analytics accuracy and overall technical quality
- Build internal tools that automate workflows, reduce human error and increase team efficiency
- Establish a technical architecture that allows us to operate multiple brands at scale
- Hire and develop a world‑class technical team
- Report weekly on performance metrics, issues, improvements and upcoming priorities
- Oversee device security and information security across the company
- Proven experience running tech for a DTC brand, ecommerce company or subscription business
- Strong understanding of funnels, CRO, attribution, tracking setups and analytics
- Experience leading engineers and running development processes
- Ability to convert business objectives into clear technical plans
- High sense of ownership and accountability for revenue‑impacting systems
- Ability to move quickly, solve problems independently and maintain high standards
- Comfortable balancing hands‑on execution with management
- Extremely analytical, obsessed with data and optimisation
- Shopify, Checkout Champ or similar ecommerce platforms
- Deep familiarity with tracking architecture including GA4, pixels and events
- Experience managing multiple brands or product lines at once
- Exposure to high‑growth environments and rapid deployment cycles
- Ability to contribute to front‑end execution when required
- Experience building dashboards or internal reporting tools
- Experience with attribution tools, BI Dashboards and automation tools
The CTO will own the KPIs that directly affect revenue and operational efficiency.

After 30 Days: A complete audit of the technical landscape across all brands, identification of major performance bottlenecks, implementation of basic QA and deployment standards, and a functioning weekly sprint process.
After 60 Days:
Meaningful improvements to load speed, tracking accuracy and funnel stability. A set of standardised templates for pages and funnels. Several CRO tests launched and reviewed.
After 90 Days:
Material reduction in technical issues and downtime. A consistent development rhythm. Core roles hired. A dashboard in place to track the technical KPIs that matter.
After 180 Days:
Noticeable conversion improvements across multiple brands. Streamlined development operations. Strong technical infrastructure supporting new product launches, new brands and an expanded marketing engine.
Compensation will be based on experience and may include a performance‑based component tied to revenue improvements. Equity across the portfolio may be available for an exceptional candidate.
