Service Now Senior Developer

Duration: contract to run until 31/03/2026

Location: London, Hybrid working

Rate: up to £690 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Clearance required: MOD SC clearance is essential.

Role purpose / summary

The Platform Developer will:

• Demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder‑management skills, acting as a key point of engagement and guidance on the suitability of Service Now for business needs.
• Develop custom Service Now applications.
• Build CPA service functionality to meet user needs and ACOE service requirements.
• Follow industry best-practice guidelines and contribute to the teams ongoing improvement.
• Write clean, secure, and well‑tested software.
• Coach and mentor more junior colleagues.
• Support the operation of services in production, including identifying and resolving issues.
• Assist in the resolution of operational incidents.

Should also have experience of:

• Linux OS configuration, shell scripting, Linux application installs.
• Understanding of AWS Cloud Services
• Designing and developing Service Now custom applications
• Service Now architecture
• Systems and Network Integrations
• Leading development teams.
