Azure Infrastructure Architect

Homebased - Travel to London / Client Sites Required Security Clearance:
Active SC (preferred) or eligible for SC clearance (no sponsorship can be offered)

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Architect / Azure Solution Architect to lead the delivery of Azure engagements. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, technically strong, and experienced in building cloud platforms and PaaS services from the ground up, including designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones. You’ll take ownership of the design, delivery, and practice development, guiding projects from discovery through execution.

• Lead Azure cloud platform engagements, defining architecture, Landing Zones, and adoption patterns for clients.
• Design and implement PaaS services including Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Service Bus, API Management, Event Hub, and Event Grid.
• Azure Landing Zone Best Practices:
  Design, document, and enforce Azure Landing Zone principles, policies, and secure cloud adoption processes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for cloud architecture adoption, Landing Zones, and standardization.
• Contribute to practice development, sharing knowledge and shaping methodologies for cloud delivery.
• Engage directly with client executives, owning technical discovery, architecture decisions, and delivery outcomes.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Platform / Azure Solution Architect delivering enterprise‑scale Azure engagements.
• Deep expertise in Azure Landing Zones – design, implementation, governance, and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with PaaS services, integration, messaging, event‑driven architectures, and SIEM/log management in Azure.
• Strong skills in cloud governance, infrastructure-as-code, and secure cloud adoption.
• Ability to operate independently, lead discovery sessions, and deliver without hand holding.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience delivering high‑impact projects for government, enterprise, or public sector clients.
