Sox Automation Consultant

We are hiring a SOX Controls Automation Consultant to support a high-growth global consumer tech business as it modernises how SOX compliance is delivered.

This is a hands-on role focused on taking a manual, audit-driven SOX environment and turning it into a scalable, automated control framework that works in a modern engineering organisation.

You will sit between finance, engineering and security, owning the design and implementation of automated SOX controls across the business.

• Assess existing SOX and ITGC controls and identify automation opportunities
• Design and implement automated evidence and control workflows
• Work directly with engineering and financial reporting teams
• Define best practice for a “touchless” SOX framework
• Embed solutions that scale with the company

• Proven experience building and automating SOX controls
• Strong ITGC and GRC platform knowledge (Workiva or similar)
• Python, APIs and cloud experience (AWS or GCP)
• Comfortable leading workshops across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change environments

• Retail, ecommerce or consumer tech background
• Big 4 or advisory firm experience
• Exposure to Dev Ops and CI/CD in regulated environments
