SummaryWe are working closely alongside a local authority in Runnymede to assist with the appointment of a FMS Systems Administrator on a 9.5‑month contract, highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. The Financial Management System (FMS) Administrator serves as a critical bridge between the Finance and IT departments, reporting to the Corporate Head of Finance. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end administration, maintenance, and optimisation of the Technology One platform.
Your primary goal is to ensure system integrity, high performance, and accurate financial reporting, using ETL tools and custom scripting to automate processes and support the council’s financial operations.
- Configure and maintain the Technology One FMS, overseeing system updates, patches, and release testing.
- Ensure maximum system uptime and reliability, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
- Utilise T‑scripts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools to manage large volumes of data and facilitate seamless integration between the ERP and third‑party systems.
- Provide technical assistance and data extracts for both internal and external audits.
- Assist in training end‑users to ensure the Finance team can fully leverage system capabilities.
- Understanding of technical/evolving products to deliver efficiencies.
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools or custom ETL development.
- Proficiency in T‑scripts and managing large data volumes.
- Experience with data integration between ERP and third‑party systems.
- Previous experience in Financial Systems Administration.
- Available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Right to work in the U.K.
