Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst

As a Mar Tech Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business strategy and technology implementation, translating complex marketing objectives into actionable Mar Tech solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients and technical teams to gather requirements, analyse existing processes, and define future‑state Mar Tech capabilities across a diverse ecosystem of marketing technologies.
Your expertise in understanding business needs, optimising customer journeys, and driving data‑driven decision‑making will be crucial in helping clients maximise their marketing effectiveness and achieve significant ROI. Experience with various marketing automation, CRM, CDP, and analytics platforms, coupled with a strong analytical mindset, is essential.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops related to Mar Tech platforms and data initiatives.
- Provide support during implementation and post‑implementation phases, including user training and support.
- Identify and document risks and issues related to Mar Tech platforms and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Develop and maintain project documentation related to Mar Tech platforms and data initiatives.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry and platform trends and best practices in Mar Tech, data management, and Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions and contribute to the community of practice.
- Strong functional and business understanding of Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) platforms, data activation, and customer data platforms (CDP).
- Desired (but not mandatory) experience with platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Salesforce Data Cloud, or Google Cloud Marketing Solutions or composable solutions.
- Experience in developing functional specifications and use cases.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- General technical knowledge of SQL/Databases/APIs/Architecture.
- Demonstrable expertise in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
- Proven experience in leveraging LLMs to deliver high‑quality work.
- Relevant certifications, such as AEP Business Practitioner, Data Cloud or Business Analyst Certifications, and knowledge of AI and agentic technologies are a plus.
