Cyber Security Specialist

📍 London / Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

We’re supporting a Top 5 Global Law Firm in hiring a Cloud Security Specialist to strengthen and mature their cloud security capability across Azure and Google Cloud environments.

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on assessing, designing and improving secure cloud configurations across complex, enterprise‑scale environments. You’ll play a key part in securing the Azure IaaS environment, ensuring best practice controls are embedded across infrastructure, containers and Dev Ops pipelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing Azure and GCP security configurations and recommending improvements aligned to emerging threats and industry standards.
• Designing and implementing secure Azure infrastructure (networks, VMs, storage, identity services).
• Enhancing Azure security across IaaS, AKS containers and Dev Ops pipelines.
• Reviewing Terraform‑based infrastructure‑as‑code to mitigate security risks.
• Optimising Azure Defender, Conditional Access and IAM strategies.
• Embedding security into Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborating with Cloud, Dev Ops and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

• 5+ years’ experience in cloud security with strong Azure focus and exposure to GCP.
• Hands‑on experience across Azure IaaS, containers (AKS) and Dev Ops pipelines.
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure‑as‑Code expertise.
• Experience with Azure security tooling (Defender, Conditional Access).
• Ability to communicate security risk clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
