We’re partnering with a global, multi-market organisation operating across Europe, the UK, North America and beyond.
The business runs a complex digital estate across multiple brands and regions. The website is not a brand showcase. It is a core commercial engine tied directly to lead generation, sales performance, and customer journeys.
Head of Digital Product role on a 12-month fixed-term basis to lead a critical period of digital delivery and change.
This is a senior digital leadership role with real commercial accountability.
Why this role mattersOver the next year, the business is delivering several business-critical digital initiatives at the same time.
This includes:
- Major website rebuilds and platform evolution
- Complex system and domain migrations
- Conversion and performance optimisation across multiple markets
These initiatives have fixed deadlines and direct revenue impact.
There is a strong Product Owner already in the team who runs delivery well day to day, but is not yet ready to take full ownership of the function.
This role exists to bring senior judgement, commercial clarity, and leadership through a demanding period of change.
What you’ll ownDigital product leadership
- Own the digital estate as a product, not just a set of projects
- Set priorities, shape the roadmap, and make confident trade-off decisions
- Ensure delivery aligns to commercial outcomes
Commercial accountability
- Own website performance as a lead generation and conversion engine
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales on the commercial impact of digital change
- Protect performance during periods of transition and migration
Delivery oversight
- Lead major website and platform initiatives end to end
- Work closely with IT, CRO, UX, and external partners
- Keep delivery moving under tight timelines and pressure
Senior stakeholder leadership
- Act as a senior point of contact for digital decision-making
- Translate complexity into clear recommendations
- Bring calm, clarity, and pragmatism in high-pressure situations
Coaching and enablement
- Actively develop the existing Product Owner in the team
- Support progression towards broader ownership
- Leave behind a stronger, more confident digital function
High-impact work you’ll lead
- Website rebuilds and platform evolution across multiple regions
- Commercially sensitive system migrations
- Conversion optimisation across a multi-brand estate
- Roadmap stabilisation and delivery focus
- Capability uplift and knowledge transfer
- Senior experience owning digital or product functions in commercially driven environments
- Experience managing websites that directly feed sales or lead generation
- Strong judgement on prioritisation and delivery
- Confidence operating across multiple work streams, brands, or markets
- Comfort working through ambiguity, change, and delivery pressure
- A calm, pragmatic leadership style with a coaching mindset
