Senior Penetration Tester

3B Data Security (part of UBDS Group) is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Penetration Tester to deliver exceptional service and contribute to the continued expansion of the organisation.

Requirements:

• CTL qualification in Infrastructure (essential) and a second CTL in Applications is a bonus.
• Chartered or Principal Cyber Security Professional title.
• Solid background in penetration testing with senior-level experience.
• Ability to obtain and hold UK security clearance.
• Demonstrable experience leading a team to high‑quality outcomes.
• Passion and enthusiasm for penetration testing; proactive in knowledge building.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Own transport and willing to travel at short notice when required.

• Lead a wide portfolio of penetration testing engagements, including complex CHECK engagements and large projects for key clients.
• Maintain CHECK Green Status in collaboration with senior management.
• Produce high‑quality reports that convey complex technical data meaningfully to customers.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to help them grow.
• Build meaningful relationships with customers, keeping them informed of engagement progress and findings in a timely manner.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert, helping customers understand their security posture and the value 3B Data Security brings.
• Provide technical presales support to assist in scoping new engagements.
• Identify business development opportunities and support their implementation.

This is a remote role, but you will be expected to travel to client sites across the UK and internationally as required, and occasionally attend the company offices.
