Senior Data Consultant

We are working with a leading global data and AI consulting firm to appoint a Senior Manager – Data Consulting
. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced consultant with a strong delivery background and a solid understanding of the business development lifecycle.

The role sits at the intersection of hands-on data & AI delivery, solution design and commercial support
. While this position does not carry individual sales targets, the successful candidate will work closely with Partners to support business development activities, shape client opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

• Lead the delivery of complex, high-value consulting engagements across data strategy, analytics and AI.
• Work in a hands-on capacity with senior clients, developing data strategies, AI use cases and data roadmaps, with sleeves rolled up where required.
• Take end-to-end ownership of delivery quality, timelines, client outcomes and team performance.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.

• Work closely with Partners to identify, shape and develop new client opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal development, client pitches, solution design and commercial scoping.
• Apply strong commercial acumen to help position data and AI solutions that address real business challenges.
• Support practice growth without holding individual revenue or sales targets.
• Leverage deep experience across data, analytics and AI to design and deliver impactful client solutions.
• Bring a strong understanding of modern data and technology ecosystems to guide solution design and delivery.
• Bridge business objectives with technical delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, pragmatic and value-led.

• Lead, mentor and develop consulting teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Contribute to internal capability building, delivery standards and thought leadership.
• Continue to grow your own consulting leadership capability in a fast-evolving, high-growth environment.

• Significant experience in management consulting, with a strong focus on data, analytics or AI-led transformations.
• Proven track record of leading delivery and solution design for complex consulting engagements.
• Strong understanding of the consulting business development process, including shaping opportunities, proposals and senior client engagement.
• A combination of delivery excellence, solution design capability and commercial awareness.
• Broad, sector-agnostic consulting experience;
  Financial Services experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the technology and data platforms underpinning analytics and AI solutions.
• Public sector consulting experience is not a focus for this role.
• High levels of curiosity, ambition and motivation to continuously learn and develop in the data and AI consulting space.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
