Contract until 31/03/2026 - could extend 6-9 months

Rate - £500 p/d Inside IR35

Location - Hybrid remote

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new Utility Network at the Weybridge site. This role will be responsible for coordinating and transitioning the network into live service, ensuring full alignment with technical, security and operational standards, as well as DDTS governance and wider programme expectations.

The Utility Network will provide secure connectivity for key facilities systems including Access Control, CCTV and BMS. The high-level architecture is complete and currently progressing through final approvals. The successful candidate will lead the remaining infrastructure delivery components, including service design, service desk onboarding, procurement governance and operational transition.

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end delivery of the Utility Network into live service
• Ensure compliance with security, firewall and technical architecture standards
• Oversee service design, readiness and operational onboarding activities
• Manage governance approvals, funding documentation and stage gate processes
• Develop and manage Whole Life Cost modelling and financial tracking
• Drive procurement documentation and supplier engagement
• Transition the solution into steady-state support

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure or network projects within the public sector
• Strong understanding of security architecture and governance processes
• Experience delivering service design and operational readiness
• Ability to operate within structured programme and stage-gated environments
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams

This role is initially scoped at 50% utilisation (2.5 days per week) for 1 month initially but cloud be extending 6-9 months, with potential to increase days per week as the project progresses through key stage gates.
