Data Idols are working with a private equity-backed data analytics and insights business, who are seeking a Senior Word Press Developer.

They are entering a key technical transition phase and require immediate hands-on engineering support to accelerate delivery. They are looking for an experienced Senior Word Press Developer on a contract basis to stabilise and enhance their existing web portal environment.

The Opportunity

This is a practical, delivery-focused contract position. You will take ownership of development across an established PHP/Word Press platform, addressing backlog items, optimising performance, and improving deployment workflows.

This role requires someone comfortable operating independently, translating product requirements into production-ready solutions without heavy oversight.

Skills & Experience

Expert-level PHP
Strong Word Press development and troubleshooting experience
Advanced SQL capability
Experience managing relational databases
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Clear communicator, able to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
