We Do Data are working with a family-run group of independent schools in central London, with over 2,000 pupils aged 2–18. The group is values-driven, with a strong emphasis on kindness, academic excellence. They are a growing trust, who recently opened their doors to their first secondary school.
They are now looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee 3rd line technical operations.
This is a highly technical role, where you will act as a point of escalation to IT engineers, alongside taking the lead on higher level IT projects throughout the trust.
Core Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, networks (Meraki), servers, workstations, and mobile devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Oversee mobile device management (Jamf Pro/Jamf School)
* Maintain access control and CCTV systems
* Support procurement, deployment, lifecycle management, and inventory tracking of IT assets.
* Provide first- and second-line technical support as needed, including cover during staff absence.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a 3rd line infrastructure focussed role (education sector desirable).
* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows Server environments, and virtualisation technologies.
* Experience with mobile device management systems and multiple operating systems.
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Jamf) are advantageous.
Working Pattern
This is a multi-site role, where you will work across the trusts 5 schools. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 – 17:00. Occasional out of hours work may be required.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Annual Leave: 30 days plus bank holidays
