This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to gain 12 months of intensive, hands-on experience at a leading global Fin Tech firm. As a Graduate Service Desk Analyst, you will immediately contribute to the service provided to the business by the Service Desk team.
This role is a defined, entry-level contract designed to provide you with high-value commercial and financial markets experience in a regulated, institutional environment. You will be an integral part of the Service Desk team, providing essential support to the team and the business and directly impacting our business operations. This position is ideal for candidates looking for a focused, fast-paced foundation in level 1 support, before pursuing long-term career goals.
Responsibilities- Be responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of assets, ensuring the asset database is kept up-to-date
- Build and maintain new and existing kit
- Perform weekly meeting room checks, stock checks and ensure the stock room is kept tidy and manageable
- Manage the contents of our off-site storage facility, facilitate the destruction of data-bearing hardware and ensure procedure is followed regarding certification and validation
- Attend meetings / briefs and write up minutes for distribution
- Manage and respond to day-to-day operational queries from the business, ensuring our high level of customer service is maintained
- Create new and update existing documentation
- Work closely with the Service Desk team and Team Lead to accommodate any other requirements
- Be a good representative of the Service Desk team at all times
- Participate in the smooth running of the team, ensuring adequate cover of the Service Desk queues at all times
- At times, it may be necessary to assist with decommission and recommission of hardware, where necessary. This may involve heavy lifting, therefore a manual handling course would be useful or will need to be completed
- Participate in LMAX’s volunteering program where opportunity arises
- An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a computing-related discipline
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- Proven ability to handle data accurately and manage administrative tasks with meticulous precision.

- Prior experience or internships in a professional office environment.
- A demonstrable passion for financial markets, particularly Foreign Exchange (FX), FX Liquidity, and institutional Digital Assets
