Up to £65,000 per annum + £7,000 DV Bonus, Private Medical and a wider range of benefits.

A leading provider of advanced digital intelligence solutions is seeking talented Machine Learning Engineers to join their national security team in London. This role offers the chance to work on pioneering AI projects with unique datasets, supporting UK national security objectives. With positions available at senior and junior levels, you will design, develop, and deploy ML models from experimentation to production, using cutting-edge tools in a collaborative environment.

• Design and develop machine learning models for forecasting, classification, anomaly detection, and GenAI/LLM applications to address national security challenges.
• Lead experimentation cycles, defining hypotheses, designing rigorous tests, evaluating results statistically, and iterating rapidly while meeting governance standards.
• Transition validated models into production-ready solutions, collaborating with engineers on deployment, monitoring, and optimisation using AWS infrastructure and MLOps tools.
• Build and optimise ML pipelines, implement experiment tracking (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases), model versioning, and feature engineering, including contributions to feature stores.
• Develop LLM-powered solutions with prompt engineering and RAG architectures, applying responsible AI practices like explainability and fairness assessments.
• Present findings to stakeholders, mentor juniors, and support production models through ongoing performance analysis and improvements.

• AWS ML services (Sage Maker, Lambda, S3)
• Experiment design, MLOps tooling, and cross-functional delivery.
• LLM/GenAI experience is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication for non-technical audiences
• Eligibility for UKIC DV clearance is essential.
