Technical Business Analyst – Senior Associate

We are partnering with a leading global investment firm to appoint a Technical Business Analyst (Senior Associate) into their Transformation Office. This role sits within a major, multi-year portfolio management system re-platforming programme and represents a high-visibility opportunity within the organisation.

The programme is currently in its first year of a multi-year transformation cycle and will involve significant operating model evolution, system ownership and cross-regional coordination.

The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of business, investment and technology teams, supporting the delivery of complex change initiatives across the portfolio management landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

• Eliciting, analysing and documenting detailed business and system requirements
• Producing high-quality process flows and structured documentation
• Creating Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and supporting data analysis
• Working closely with engineering and vendor teams to translate requirements into build-ready outputs
• Supporting operating model changes across portfolio systems
• Managing stakeholder expectations across investment, research operations and technology teams
• Contributing to structured governance and delivery oversight within the Transformation Office

The successful Technical Business Analyst – Senior Associate, will have:

• 5–7 years’ experience within technology-enabled transformation programmes
• Solid SQL capability (including joins and structured querying)
• Experience producing Entity Relationship Diagrams and detailed system documentation
• Demonstrable experience working closely with engineering teams
• Strong analytical and documentation discipline
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A detail-oriented, structured and delivery-focused mindset

• Experience with in Asset Management, Wealth Management or a comparable investment environment is advantageous. A background within a reputable consultancy environment may also be beneficial.
