Freelance mid-weight UX Writer

Overview

Start: Monday, 15th September 2025
Finish: Friday, 13th March 2026 (6 months, strong chance of extension)
Client: Market-leading cloud-based business software platform
IR35: Outside IR35 (must use a Limited Company or Umbrella, not Sole Trader)
Location: London or remote UK (UK-based preferred, open to adjacent time zones if needed)
Work set-up: Flexible, remote option available
Days: Full-time, 5 days per week
Day rate: £290/day (maximum)

Create user-centred content and technical documentation for developers, partners, and end users

• Knowledge of UX design principles + Content Design

Design in-app guidance, onboarding flows, and messaging that drives adoption and value

Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to capture technical details

Ideally, have experience working within a SaaS environment

As a Contract Content Designer & Writer, you’ll:

• Craft technical documentation, in-app guidance, and user-focused messaging
• Leverage research insights to optimise content for impact
• Directly support product adoption, enhance user experience, and guide product decisions
• This is a hands-on, high-impact role for skilled UX writers, ideally with SaaS experience.
