Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Workday Security Architect to lead the design and governance of ERP security architecture within a complex enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for defining, implementing, and assuring secure Workday security models aligned to organisational policy, regulatory requirements, and best practice.
This is a hybrid role based in London, offered as an initial 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities- Design and own the end-to-end Workday security architecture (HCM / Financials as applicable)
- Define and implement role-based security models, domain security policies, and business process security policies
- Lead security design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Ensure ERP security architecture aligns with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements
- Conduct security impact assessments for system changes and enhancements
- Support audit, risk, and compliance activities including documentation and remediation planning
- Provide governance and oversight across Workday security configuration and integrations
- Collaborate with IAM, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure integration patterns
- Proven experience as a Workday Security Architect in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in ERP security architecture (essential)
- Deep understanding of Workday security framework (roles, domains, business process security policies, segregation of duties)
- Experience designing secure access models for large, complex organisations
- Strong knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and provide clear security design documentation
- Must be eligible for SC (Security Check) Clearance
- Available for hybrid working in London
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments
- Workday Financials security experience
- Experience supporting security audits or regulatory reviews
