Job Description

Why consider joining our Financial Services community as a Managing Consultant in Digital Trust and Cyber Security? We are seeking a highly accomplished Managing Consultant to join our Digital Trust & Cyber Security practice, focusing on Financial Services. The opportunity is to shape and grow a high‑impact consulting practice, advising global financial institutions on digital security, operational resilience, third‑party risk management (TPRM), data privacy, regulatory compliance, and emerging cyber risks.

The ideal candidate will have deep financial services expertise, a strong C‑suite network, and a track record of originating and delivering complex cyber security and digital trust engagements. This role requires someone who can operate at the highest levels, guiding clients through evolving challenges of digital risk, cyber resilience, and regulatory scrutiny.

Key responsibilities include engaging and selling to leading FS executives (CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, Heads of Data Privacy, Heads of Operational Resilience), collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to grow our portfolio of customers and projects, and leading teams to deliver digital trust programmes of significant scale.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in a consulting organisation.
  • Proven track record of leading large‑scale cyber security projects and engagements.
  • Deep understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align cyber security strategies with organisational goals.
  • Excellent client management skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive‑level relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and team‑management skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
What You Can Expect Strategic Leadership & Thought Leadership
  • Shape and lead the firm’s Digital Trust & Cyber Security strategy, ensuring alignment with financial services sector needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on specialist areas such as identity & access management (IAM), zero‑trust architectures, cloud security, data privacy frameworks, payment systems, fraud detection, digital banking security, and third‑party/vendor risk management.
  • Advise financial institutions on regulatory compliance (e.g., FCA/PRA, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, Data Privacy regulation).
  • Act as a thought leader, contributing to industry forums, white papers, and public discussions on digital security, cyber risks, and operational resilience.
Client Development & Business Growth
  • Leverage an extensive C‑suite network (CISOs, CROs, CTOs, CIOs, and board members) to drive business development and build long‑term client relationships.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor in digital trust, cyber security, and resilience consulting.
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies, ensuring revenue growth and client retention in the financial sector.
  • Lead high‑profile client engagements, from origination to execution, ensuring measurable impact and business outcomes.
