The Business Process Automation (BPA) Team is responsible for automating projects using a combination of RPA and Agentic AI. The team works with members of the Business to identify Use Cases that could be automated, and then Designs, Develops, Tests & Deploys Bots or Agents to provide an automated solution. The BPA Team primarily uses ‘UiPath’ to build our automated solutions, but also leverages Microsoft ‘Co-Pilot Studio’ as well as other automation toolkits that are available at Fitch.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Discovery: Engineer will conduct process assessments to identify automation opportunities. This will include documenting the As-Is process, determining automation feasibility, understanding Risk and calculating benefits & ROI
  • Solution Design: Document the solution’s ‘Process Definition Document’, which includes core details on the process, requirements and process maps for the To-Be Solution. Identify variations and build proper exception handling. Determine the appropriate solution (Bot, Agent or hybrid) and leverages UiPath’s suite of products to provide the most complete, accurate automation (XDP, human-in-the-loop, libraries)
  • Development: Engineer will be responsible for building, configuring & maintaining the UiPath workflows, libraries and integrations (API’s, Connectors, Webhooks) that are part of the solution. Engineer should leverage RPA for deterministic steps in the workflow, while leveraging AI Agents for open-ended steps requiring analysis & judgement
  • Test, Deploy & Support: Engineer will create and execute a Test Plan, including creating Test Data & Test Cases to validate the results. The Engineer will work with the Business to conduct a UAT and confirm they are satisfied with the output. Communicate any Change Management guidelines to End Users for the new solution being deployed. Work with Sr. Engineers to conduct a peer review of the code and deploy the package to production.

Monitor the solution in production to track logs, metrics and defects which require addressing
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance: Adhere to guidelines & best practices set by the BPA Team to minimize risk. This includes applying least access principles and going through the proper Info Sec checkpoints when dealing with sensitive data.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 2-5 years experience in business analysis / process improvement
