Information Technology Auditor

We are looking for an IT Compliance Support Engineer (AVP level) to join a London-based development team. This role sits at the intersection of technology, audit, and governance, acting as the key liaison between engineering, audit, compliance, and IT security.

You will support audit readiness, strengthen IT controls, and ensure development and change processes meet regulatory and internal governance standards.

• Act as the primary contact for internal and external audit, compliance, and IT security.
• Provide audit evidence, including source code, scripts, access records, and change documentation.
• Support and improve IT General Controls (GITC), including change management, access control, and incident management.
• Review C# code, SQL scripts, and system permissions to validate compliance.
• Embed governance controls into Azure Dev Ops pipelines and development workflows.
• Track and coordinate remediation of audit findings and control gaps.
• Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and audit evidence packs.
• Work closely with developers, platform teams, and risk stakeholders.

• Experience supporting IT audit, compliance, or risk in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, IT controls, and change management.
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, Service Now, and Jira.
• Ability to understand C# and SQL at a review level.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
