AI Engineer (Early Conversations) – Health Tech Start-up London / Hybrid - 2 Days onsite Hybrid working – Central London

We’re currently beginning early conversations with exceptional AI Engineers for an upcoming role within a profitable, early‑stage Health Tech company.

The business is building AI‑driven software designed to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency across healthcare, working closely with clinicians and real‑world data from day one.

This is an opportunity to get in early, help shape the role, and influence both the technical direction and company culture as the team grows.

• Designing and developing AI / ML models applied to real healthcare problems.
• Working closely with founders, product, and clinical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Contributing to early architecture decisions around data pipelines, model deployment, and MLOps.
• Rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iteration based on feedback and results.

• Strong experience as an AI / Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
• Solid Python skills and hands‑on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit‑learn, etc.).
• Exposure to deploying models into production environments.
• Comfortable working in small, fast‑moving teams.
• Experience with healthcare, life sciences, or regulated data is a HUGE plus.
• Positive, professional, and high‑energy — someone motivated by impact as much as technology.
