Expert Business Analyst – Electronic Trading Platforms (Commodities)
Location: Canary Wharf (3–4 days onsite)
Contract: 8 Months |
Start: ASAP |
40 hrs/week
Two BA roles (Lead & Experienced) supporting the selection, implementation and integration of a new electronic exchange platform replacing legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with trading desks across European gas, power & emissions
- Optimise platforms such as e
* star, Sphirra, Trayport, TT - Document front-office processes and translate into technical requirements
- Ensure accurate trade flow into ETRM and in-house systems
- Capture compliance and algorithmic trading requirements
- Engage stakeholders across Front Office, IT, Ops & Compliance
- Use SQL and work closely with development teams
- Strong commodities trading knowledge (futures, forwards, options)
- Experience with exchange integrations (e
* star, Sphirra) and ETRMs - Understanding of electronic trading compliance
- Strong BA and stakeholder management skills
- Technical capability (SQL, code branching)
