Role – We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM Functional Expert to support large-scale transformation initiatives within the life sciences and manufacturing domain. This is a senior, hands‑on role focused on SAP Materials Management, working across complex, global supply chain and manufacturing environments. You will contribute to high‑impact SAP programmes involving manufacturing execution, supply chain optimisation, and integration with advanced planning and scheduling solutions.

The role offers exposure to modern SAP landscapes and collaboration with global delivery teams across multiple sites.

• Lead and support SAP MM implementations and rollouts for manufacturing‑focused clients, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and business requirements.
• Design, configure, and optimise SAP MM processes across Process, Repetitive, and Discrete Manufacturing environments.
• Own and enhance MM and logistics master data
  , ensuring consistency and integrity across plants and sites.
• Configure and support Material Master across all relevant views (Basic, Purchasing, Accounting, Quality, Sales, Foreign Trade).
• Manage key MM objects including Source Lists, Purchasing Info Records (PIR), Quality Info Records (QIR), and other S/4
  
  HANA master data objects.
• Design and support batch management processes, including Batch Determination, Batch Search Strategy, and Batch Derivation
  .
• Work with Bills of Material (BOMs), Production Versions, and Master Recipes
  , supporting integration with manufacturing and planning processes.
• Lead or contribute to interface and integration initiatives, ensuring reliable data flow between SAP and external systems.
• Support documentation, testing, and landscape management activities across all project phases.
• Engage with business stakeholders across multiple sites to gather requirements, resolve site‑specific issues, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with global teams across different time zones to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.

• 15+ years of hands‑on experience delivering SAP MM implementations and rollouts
  , ideally within process industries or regulated manufacturing environments
  .
• Deep expertise in SAP MM and logistics master data
  , including material master configuration and supply chain master data dependencies.
• Strong experience with SAP batch management and related configuration.
• Proven experience integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Hands‑on exposure to interfaces and integrations
  , including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across global teams and time zones.
