Overview
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic planning and direction for all Total Social social clients, oversee all implementation and to grow revenue and capability in the Total Social team.
Total Social is dentsu’s end-to-end social capability within Amplifi, bringing together paid social, organic, creators, content, community and social commerce into one integrated, social first offering. We work across dentsu’s agency brands to deliver measurable brand and business growth, partnering closely with platforms like Meta, Tik Tok, Reddit, Snap, Pinterest and Linked In. Our teams operate at scale across global and local clients, using data, experimentation and modern measurement to drive outcomes in the algorithmic era.
We are looking for a Managing Partner to join Total Social as a visionary leader responsible for defining, shaping, and accelerating the future of dentsu’s Total Social offering. In this role, you will architect the product vision, unify our global social capabilities, and fuel continual innovation across paid, organic, creator, commerce and community disciplines, partnering closely with a fellow Managing Partner to jointly shape how Total Social strategy is activated across our teams and clients.

You will guide our teams and clients through the continuously evolving landscape of platforms, culture, creativity, community, commerce, data, and AI.
Responsibilities- Product Vision & Innovation
- Own and articulate the Total Social product vision, defining what our end‑to‑end social offering represents across paid social, organic, influencer, community, social content, and social commerce. Work closely with your fellow Total Social Managing Partner to stress-test and devise ways of working to make a reality.
- Architect the future‑facing roadmap that ensures we remain ahead of cultural, technological, and platform shifts.
- Partner with strategy, media, Dentsu Creative, and CXM leaders to ensure Total Social integrates seamlessly across the wider dentsu ecosystem.
- Ensure our product, frameworks, and POVs are consistently understood, adopted, and championed across all internal stakeholder groups - locally, regionally, and globally.
- Build and promote a differentiated narrative that sets dentsu apart in the social landscape.
- Client Performance & Delivery Excellence
- Lead key accounts where Managing Partner time is required to drive innovation and to challenge our platform partners to get the best results for clients.
- Monitor client performance across all markets, using core systems to identify risks early and lead remediation plans.
- Partner with Client Leads and Practice Leads to ensure teams are meeting and exceeding client targets and performance expectations.
- Ensure every client receives a consistently elevated level of craft, experience, and service.
- Act as point of escalation on Key accounts where innovation and adoption are challenges and find the best solution for our client and team.
- Growth & Commercial Leadership
- Lead major Total Social new business opportunities - shaping the approach, story, and client ambition.
- Partner with client leadership to grow and evolve existing accounts, ensuring full adoption of the Total Social product.
- Identify, size, and build commercial models for new products, tools, partnerships, and ways of working.
- Maximise cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities across dentsu’s client base, ensuring Total Social is a catalyst for wider integrated growth.
- Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire senior partners and leaders across client pods, setting clear standards for accountability, delivery excellence, and client leadership.
- Own the performance and effectiveness of Total Social delivery teams in your remit, ensuring teams are well‑structured, supported, and aligned to product and client ambition.
