Role – We are seeking a senior SAP EWM Functional Expert to support large-scale SAP S/4

HANA transformation programmes within the life sciences and pharmaceuticals domain. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role working across complex warehouse and logistics environments, with responsibility for designing, configuring, and optimising SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, warehouse operations, and global delivery teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing warehouse management solutions across multiple sites.

• Lead and support SAP EWM implementations and rollouts
  , ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and regulated industry requirements.
• Design, configure, and optimise SAP EWM processes covering inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, handling units, physical inventory, bin management, and warehouse master data.
• Configure warehouse structures including warehouse numbers, storage types, activity areas, warehouse process types, and storage sections/bins
  .
• Design and implement advanced EWM processes such as POSC/LOSC (Process/Layout-Oriented Storage Control), wave management, kitting, and cross-docking
  .
• Integrate SAP EWM with S/4
  
  HANA or ECC using CIF, IDocs, and qRFC
  , and support integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Support and configure RF frameworks and ITS Mobile for handheld warehouse devices.
• Perform ABAP debugging and troubleshooting
  , working closely with developers on custom enhancements and issue resolution.
• Lead or contribute to interface and integration initiatives
  , ensuring reliable and consistent data flows.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones and support multi-site warehouse landscapes
  , resolving plant- or site-specific issues.

• 10–15 years of hands-on experience delivering SAP EWM implementations and rollouts
  .
• Strong experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  .
• Deep knowledge of SAP EWM processes, warehouse operations, and logistics best practices
  .
• Proven experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA EWM integrations and system landscapes.
• Strong skills in ABAP debugging and technical troubleshooting
  .
• Hands-on experience with interfaces and integrations
  , including monitoring and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global teams and time zones.
