Overview

The Team

  • Working in the social team you will be a part of a 13-strong UK network, alongside our offshore team (8) based in India.
  • Our team is split into three product areas, this Account Director role is working across our Connectivity vertical (Mobile, Broadband and Business)
  • You will directly line manage 3 individuals, 2 x Account Managers as well as an Exec, alongside the output of 2 offshore team members
  • You will be working with a fast-paced and energetic team, working closely with the Head of Social, Social ADs, planning teams and strategists to deliver our most coveted campaigns across the Sky Portfolio.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead paid social strategies aligned with client objectives (e.g. driving website purchases, brand awareness, or engagement).
  • With work Digital Leads on quarterly and annual planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance targets.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment on strategy, performance, and innovation.
  • Present campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations in a compelling, data-driven way.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Creative, Data, Media Planning) and external partners (e.g. Meta, Tik Tok reps).
  • Oversee campaign setup, optimization, and reporting, ensuring best-in-class execution.
  • Drive adoption of new platform features and test innovative formats.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and support Social Managers and Execs, helping them grow in strategic thinking and platform expertise.
  • Ensure quality control across all deliverables, from media plans to post-campaign analysis.
  • Lead measurement strategy, including incrementality testing, attribution modelling, and platform-specific studies.
  • Partner with analytics teams to extract actionable insights from Meta, DCM and Adobe datasets.
  • Ability to translate data into clear narratives that inform future planning and creative direction.
Qualifications
  • Be a clear leader across the given product area and become to go-to for our clients in terms of strategy, problem solving and direction
  • Drive growth for our client, and exceed given targets based on KPIs for brand and trade
  • Activated or planned at least one test, alpha or beta opportunity across the portfolio
  • Actively work with Head of Social to identify growth opportunities and unlock new revenue for Publicis
  • Achieve client scores above 8 within our client survey systems.
Skills and Experience
  • Deep expertise across social platforms, with a focus on Meta, Tik Tok, and Snapchat.
  • Familiarity with CM360, Adobe, Google Analytics, or other third-party measurement tools.
  • Proven social strategic mindset, being aware of wider social landscape and trends including influencer and e-commerce.
  • Proven end-to-end campaign management across brand and performance objectives.
  • Strong line management experience, including mentoring and setting team KPIs.
  • Skilled in stakeholder and client engagement both internal and external, including platform partner collaboration.
  • Effective multitasker, managing multiple work streams under tight deadlines.
