Overview

The Role

As a Paid Social Manager supporting the Western Union account, you will help deliver paid social activity for a globally recognised financial services brand operating across multiple markets. Western Union enables cross‑border money movement and financial inclusion worldwide, meaning paid social activity must be accurate, responsible, and performance‑driven within a regulated environment.

This role is well‑suited to someone with solid paid social experience who is ready to take more ownership while continuing to develop their strategic, client‑handling, and innovation skills. You will support the day‑to‑day running of campaigns, contribute to planning and testing, and play an active role in innovation and influencer‑led paid social work streams, with guidance

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Data & Insight

  • Support the selection and tracking of KPIs aligned to Western Union’s campaign and market objectives.
  • Assist with reporting and performance analysis, turning data into clear insights and actions.
  • Help identify trends, learnings, and opportunities across markets and platforms.
  • Work within agreed measurement and compliance frameworks, escalating issues where needed.

Technology & Tools

  • Use Publicis tools and platform features to support efficient campaign delivery and optimisation.
  • Assist with testing new ad formats, features, and betas relevant to Western Union.
  • Build familiarity with automation and platform tools to support smarter ways of working.
  • Follow best‑practice processes and contribute ideas for improving delivery.

Media Strategy & Execution

  • Support paid social planning and activation across platforms including Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, Pinterest, and Reddit.
  • Build, manage, and optimise campaigns with support from senior team members.
  • Contribute to testing plans and learning agendas to improve performance over time.
  • Ensure campaigns are set up accurately and aligned to agreed objectives and messaging.

Innovation & Influencer Work streams

  • Support innovation initiatives on the Western Union account, including testing new formats and approaches.
  • Assist with influencer and creator‑led paid social activity, helping amplify creator content through paid media.
  • Help track and evaluate influencer performance, contributing to learnings and recommendations.
  • Stay curious about platform, cultural, and creator trends and share relevant ideas with the team.

Operations & Delivery

  • Support day‑to‑day campaign delivery and optimisation across markets.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy across briefs, budgets, and performance tracking.
  • Assist with financial processes and QA, escalating issues where required.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.

People & Culture

  • Work collaboratively as part of the paid social team, contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Take ownership of personal development, seeking feedback and learning opportunities.
