We are seeking an experienced Principal Operational Technology Consultant to lead complex engagements across industrial control and critical infrastructure environments.

This is a strategic, client-facing leadership role for an expert who understands how operational technology, cyber security, and industrial resilience intersect. You will advise senior stakeholders, shape secure OT architectures, and drive risk management strategies across nationally significant sectors.

If you combine deep OT technical expertise with strong consulting and leadership capability, this role offers the opportunity to operate at principal level on high-impact programmes.

• Lead advisory and transformation engagements across industrial control and OT environments
• Define secure architecture for ICS
  , SCADA
  , and distributed control systems
• Conduct OT cyber risk assessments and resilience reviews
• Develop OT governance frameworks and security operating models
• Design and oversee OT monitoring and threat detection strategies
• Guide compliance against sector-specific regulatory requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering, security, and executive stakeholders
• Mentor consultants and contribute to thought leadership and business growth

You will have strong experience in the security and management of industrial and operational technology systems, including:

• Process control systems
• SCADA platforms
• Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• PLCs and RTUs
• Industrial data communications networks
• Electricity transmission and distribution control systems
• IoT and Industrial IoT ecosystems

• Industrial cyber security risk management
• Network segmentation and secure remote access
• Security monitoring in operational environments
• OT/IT convergence challenges
• Incident response within industrial systems
