Head of IT Services and Operations

We are supporting a leading organisation with the appointment of a Head of IT Services and Operations to lead digital services across a complex, enterprise-scale portfolio.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and transformational delivery.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of digital services, ensuring alignment with business strategy and driving innovation, efficiency, and governance across the portfolio.

Essential Experience

Previous experience as a Systems Integrator (SI) in a delivery lead role within a large consultancy, now operating internally on-site within a major corporate organisation.

• Proven track record delivering digital services at enterprise scale
• Advanced communication skills, able to influence at C-Suite level.
• Expert in digital service delivery life cycle and operating models
• Highly advanced commercial, budgetary and operational management skills

The Role

• Leading digital service delivery strategy across multiple business areas
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in digital service delivery.
• Defining and delivering operational plans, KPIs and OKRs
• Owning significant budgets and resources with strong commercial control
• Building trusted relationships with Board, Senior stakeholders and Outsource partners
• Providing executive leadership to senior teams, including succession planning
