Position: Performance Analyst (local authority housing)

Housing Performance Data Analyst – Temporary Contract

Hybrid | Wembley £23.81 per hour | Immediate Start

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Housing Performance Data Analyst to join our dynamic Resident Data Team for a 2–3 month assignment. In this pivotal role within the Resident Services Directorate, you'll help drive service improvement through insightful data analysis, robust performance management, and innovative reporting solutions.

You will play a key role in:

  • Delivering performance management and quality assurance systems
  • Conducting research and analysis to strengthen local strategies
  • Leading data quality improvement initiatives
  • Producing performance reports and scorecards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance service outcomes
  • Building data pipelines using tools such as Power Automate
  • Designing Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the role. You’ll need:

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in performance management, research, and analytics
  • Strong ability to interpret and convey complex data insights

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience developing Power Automate flows
  • Advanced Power BI development skills
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency
  • Experience using Business Objects to build reports
  • Familiarity with large housing datasets
  • Experience delivering statutory returns, particularly the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • A proactive, innovative mindset

Contract Details

  • Start: Immediate
  • Duration: Until at least end of May
  • Location: Hybrid – based in Wembley
  • Rate: £23.81 per hour
