So, what's the role all about? We are looking for a Senior Conversational AI Designer / Agent Architect to help design, pilot, and scale enterprise grade AI agents on the NiCE platform. At NiCE, we are redefining how organisations engage with customers through agentic AI, automation, and conversational experiences. This role sits within a new Conversational Design and AI Delivery team focused on building real production AI agents for some of the world’s largest and most complex enterprises.

You will work at the intersection of design, AI engineering, and enterprise delivery. Your role will involve working directly with strategic customers to transform business challenges into high impact AI solutions. You will design, build, and launch conversational agents that quickly demonstrate value through pilots and then scale into mission critical deployments. These are not experimental prototypes or demo projects. The AI agents you design will operate in real enterprise environments, supporting customer interactions at scale and delivering measurable impact on customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver production ready AI agents across voice and digital channels using NiCE’s AI and CX platforms.
  • Create intuitive, scalable conversational experiences capable of handling real world complexity in high volume and regulated environments.
  • Ensure conversational systems meet enterprise standards for reliability, trust, security, and compliance.
  • Lead the full lifecycle from discovery and conversational design through pilot delivery, measurement, and iteration.
  • Define and evolve best practices for Conversational AI delivery including design standards, evaluation approaches, tuning strategies, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with solution architects, AI engineers, and customer teams to transition pilots into full production deployments.
  • Work directly with large global enterprises to understand complex customer experience challenges and translate them into effective AI driven solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on AI powered customer experience transformation.
  • Use insights from real world deployments to influence the future direction of NiCE’s AI platform and tooling.
  • Identify product gaps and collaborate with Product, R and D, and AI teams to improve platform capabilities.
  • Contribute reusable conversational frameworks and design patterns that can be applied across industries and use cases.
Qualifications
  • Experience designing and delivering end to end production systems, ideally within enterprise or customer facing environments.
  • Strong problem solving skills and comfort operating in fast moving and ambiguous contexts.
  • A builder’s mindset with a focus on ownership, rapid iteration, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into real world solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical, design, and business audiences.
  • Comfort collaborating across multidisciplinary teams including AI engineering, solution architecture, and product.
You will have an advantage if you also have
  • Hands on experience building Conversational AI, LLM driven systems, or agentic AI solutions in production environments.
  • Understanding of conversation design principles, dialogue management, and customer experience metrics.
  • Experience with AI development patterns such as RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, prompt design, and agent orchestration.
  • Background in consulting, pre sales, or enterprise solution delivery roles.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to shape platforms and capabilities.
