Data Engineer

An Investment Management firm is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to maintain and evolve their modern data analytics platform.

This role will focus on data pipeline development, dimensional modelling, and platform ownership, using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.

You will play a key role in enabling the analytics team by delivering reliable, well-structured data, ensuring high standards of data quality, and supporting governance across the analytics platform.

Key Requirements

• Strong SQL skills and experience transforming and modelling data.
• Experience building data pipelines in a modern data platform environment.
• Exposure to PySpark, Azure Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling (e.g. star schema).
• Experience with Git or CI/CD workflows in a data engineering environment.
• Experience with in financial services, wealth management, or investment management.
