Triangle Test Automation Engineer

Security Clearance: SC

• Hands on experience with Triangle or similar Openlink specific test automation tools.
• Strong Openlink/Findur knowledge — trade lifecycle, EoD tasks, custom logic (UDSRs, reports, user tables).
• Proven experience delivering UAT/regression automation with clear evidence and traceability.
• Experience designing and using mocks, stubs, or simulators to replicate external systems and services (e.g. Bloomberg, Markit Wire,) when automating E2E and interface testing.
• Strong understanding of multi system message flows and ability to automate integrations involving outbound and inbound messages (e.g. via XML, JSON)
• Familiarity with API driven automation and cross environment data comparison.
• Strong SQL/reporting skills for analysis, validation, and baseline creation.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and differentiate between test, data, environment, and platform issues.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders including management level.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions), including version control and reporting artefacts.
• Experience with BDD or structured scenario writing practices.
• Experience assessing performance or execution impacts using automated timing or performance focused test approaches.
• Experience working in regulated or controlled environments where evidence quality and auditability are important.

• Configure, extend, and maintain the Triangle automation framework, project structure and execution patterns.
• Build automated regression and UAT test suites, including dynamic test generation and cross environment comparisons.
• Collaborate with business and product SMEs to translate key functional business flows into automatable scenarios and ensuring test evidence is clear, traceable, and supports formal test phase sign off.
• Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions) and deliver meaningful MI/reporting.
• Define and manage test data and baselines for side by side comparisons across environments.
• Diagnose and resolve automation failures, distinguishing between test defects, data issues, environment instability, and underlying platform defects, providing test execution evidence, defect documentation, and traceable audit outputs.
• Document approaches, patterns, and design decisions to support reuse, maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Support handover and capability uplift for internal teams extending Triangle test coverage, including coaching and mentoring others to ensure knowledge is documented and shared with all product areas.
• Contribute to all Agile ceremonies and activities as required. Including planning, estimation, reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide periodic status updates, progress reporting, and risk/issue documentation.
