Responsibilities- Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex network incidents and problems.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues across LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments.
- Support and optimise HPE Aruba switching estates.
- Work with Fortinet SD-WAN and Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN platforms.
- Collaborate with design and project teams on network improvements and changes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes, not just workarounds.
- Maintain high-quality technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Support secure network operations within regulated and sensitive environments.
- CCNP-level skills with a current professional-level certification (essential).
- Strong enterprise networking background (routing & switching).
- Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba switching.
- SD-WAN experience (vendor-agnostic accepted).
- Ability to operate confidently in a 3rd line support capacity.
- Eligible for SC Clearance (or already SC cleared).
- Fortinet SD-WAN experience.
- Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN exposure.
- Experience supporting large, multi-site network estates.
- No on-call rota.
- Working hours:
9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. - Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office.
- Choice of office locations:
London, Belfast, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Bristol - Training and development support to keep certifications current.
- Stable, well-run environment with clear technical ownership.
- £50,000 – £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
