Linux Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator – City of London – Linux, VMware, Nagios, Jira - £50,000 - £60,000

A well‑recognised financial firm based in the City of London is looking to hire a talented Linux Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator to join their established team. In this role you will be responsible for providing 1st-3rd line Linux technical support and maintenance for my client’s systems.

Daily responsibilities of the Linux Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator will include: monitoring and supporting linux platforms during trading hours. Assisting in the installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux systems and server and assisting the Dev Ops team with projects.

To be considered for the Linux Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator role you will require the following skill‑set:

Linux
VMware
Nagios / Zabbix
Jira
