• Implements, configures, and evaluates new networking environments, including both hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Continuously monitors network performance, identifies bottlenecks or potential issues, and makes informed recommendations to enhance network quality and reliability.
• Creates and manages user accounts, provides first‑line support, and resolves network‑related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
• Ensures robust network security, investigates incidents, and remediates faults in accordance with security protocols and best practices.
• Produces comprehensive operational documentation and delivers ongoing support and training for users to ensure efficient system utilisation.
• Resolves hardware maintenance tickets, performs diagnostics, and conducts repairs on networking and server equipment.
• Deploys, configures, and maintains servers, storage solutions, and networking infrastructure across multiple UK data centres.
• Executes secure decommissioning projects, including data sanitisation and hardware disposal in compliance with industry regulations.
• Maintains accurate technical documentation, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and industry best practices.

• Proficient in configuring systems with strong diagnostic and fault resolution skills
• Experience on maintaining physical and virtual servers
• Team working skills
• Knowledge of network security protocols
• Skilled in managing user accounts
• Strong problem‑solving abilities

3+ Proven experience in network deployments and/or data center operations.

CCNA or JNCIA certification preferred.

Proficiency in spoken and written English.
