Data Platform Engineer – Cloud & Python

Role Overview

A platform-focused data engineering role building and supporting cloud-based data infrastructure used across multiple fintech products and teams. You’ll help shape the foundations that enable reliable data ingestion, processing, and access across a regulated financial environment.

• Develop and maintain cloud-native data platforms

• Build scalable ingestion and processing pipelines

• Improve platform performance, security, and reliability

• Collaborate with data, engineering, and Dev Ops teams

• Support CI/CD and infrastructure best practices

• Strong Python engineering background

• Experience with cloud platforms and data infrastructure

• Exposure to data pipelines and platform architecture

• Experience working in regulated environments

• Understanding of Dev Ops principles

• Infrastructure-as-code experience

• Streaming or event-driven data exposure

• Financial services domain knowledge

• Platform-level ownership and influence

• Long-term technical roadmap

• Strong engineering culture
