Senior Dev Ops Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS. You will play a key role in driving Dev Ops best practices, ensuring efficient deployment pipelines, and optimising cloud infrastructure to support business growth.

London (2-3 days per week on-site)

Full‑Time

• Perform Dev Ops services on scalable cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business requirements.
• Oversee deployment and management of AWS resources, ensuring optimal performance and cost‑efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams in effectively utilising AWS services.
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure using AWS Cloud Watch and other monitoring tools.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using AWS Dev Ops tools.
• Ensure data security and compliance through implementation of AWS security best practices and governance.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents related to AWS services and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning to support system scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve deployment processes and system performance.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers on AWS technologies and Dev Ops best practices.

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Cloud Watch, etc.)
• Proven experience in Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar
• Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
