Senior Product Data Analyst — Insight‑Driven

This contract opportunity sits within a data‑led organisation at a key point of growth, where product decisions are driven by insight, experimentation and clear measurement. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering and commercial teams, using data to influence strategy and shape meaningful user outcomes.

• Partner with product and business stakeholders to uncover user behaviour, pain points and opportunities through robust quantitative analysis
• Design and support experiments, develop hypotheses, and help size and prioritise new product initiatives
• Define, align and document key metrics, working closely with engineers to ensure reliable and consistent data foundations
• Build and maintain self‑serve dashboards and analytical tools to enable data‑informed decision‑making
• Deliver deep‑dive analysis with clear recommendations to support strategic product and business decisions
• Contribute to a central insights and knowledge hub, promoting shared understanding across teams

• Strong experience applying data analysis within a product‑focused or digitally native environment
• Proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and familiarity with modern BI and analytics platforms
• Ability to translate complex business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insight
• Strong data storytelling skills, with confidence presenting findings to stakeholders at varying levels
• A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with genuine curiosity about user behaviour
• Comfortable collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams while operating independently in a senior analytics environment
