This role as a Technical Pre-sales Consultant in the Technology & Data industry focuses on supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions tailored to client needs. The position requires a strong understanding of technical concepts (particularly around AWS, GCP and Azure) and effective communication to bridge the gap between technical teams and clients.

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and demonstrations to clients during the pre-sales process.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with company offerings.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to showcase products and services to potential clients.
• Respond to technical queries from clients and provide accurate, timely information.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and tender documents to secure new business opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements to enhance solution offerings.
• Support the transition of clients from pre-sales to implementation phases.

A successful Technical Pre-sales Consultant should have:

• A strong knowledge of cloud-based and hybrid solutions using AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales support role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse audiences.
• Solid technical knowledge and the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively with sales and technical teams.
• A cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
