Senior Manager, Product Analytics & Experimentation

Join us at Moonpig as a Senior Manager, Product Analytics & Experimentation, where you’ll define and scale how data shapes product decisions across our Cards business. This role sits within the Data team while being deeply embedded in Product – partnering closely with senior Product leaders to turn behavioural insight and experimentation into clear, commercially grounded decisions.

You’ll lead a high-performing analytics team while shaping the future of how we use data – moving from embedded analytics to scalable, self-serve approaches. This is a role with real influence, where your work will directly impact product strategy, customer experience, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and scale the Product Analytics function, setting direction for experimentation, behavioural analysis and impact measurement across product teams
  • Establish and embed best practices for experiment design, analysis and interpretation to enable consistent, high-quality decision-making
  • Build and run experimentation operations, including clinics, forums and training to improve quality and adoption across teams
  • Own and evolve the product metrics framework, including north star, input and guardrail metrics
  • Contribute to product attribution approaches, partnering with Product and Finance to align expected and realized impact
  • Define measurement approaches for AI and algorithmic features in collaboration with Data Science, MLOps and Engineering
  • Shape product and commercial strategy through opportunity identification, impact sizing and evidence-based recommendations
  • Lead high-impact and complex analysis, ensuring outputs are decision-ready and commercially grounded
  • Synthesize behavioural insight, experimentation results and commercial context to inform strategic direction
  • Build scalable analytics capability through frameworks, tooling and self-serve approaches
  • Line manage and develop a team of analysts, building technical depth and stakeholder influence
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product Analytics, Data Science and Engineering
About you
  • Proven experience leading and developing Product Analytics teams, with a track record of scaling impact and capability
  • Strong background in product or commercial analytics within a digital or e-commerce environment
  • Deep experience designing, running and interpreting experiments with sound statistical judgment
  • Advanced analytical skills, including strong SQL and working knowledge of Python or similar
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, commercially grounded recommendations
  • Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders across Product and cross‑functional teams
  • Experience building scalable analytics practices, including frameworks, templates and self‑serve tooling
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and leading high-impact, business‑critical investigations
